Horris the Heroic House Spider was inspired by a spider who decided to visit Lily in her bedroom and rather scared her. After reading about Horris and his family, Lily was no longer scared and wanted to try drawing him. At twelve years old, she has followed in her sister's footsteps and shown she is a talented artist.

Gordon the Ghost Sausage was inspired by a dream Emma's father had. He phoned her to tell her about it and it made her laugh so much she decided to create a story about a spooky sausage terrorising his neighbourhood.

The Crocodile Who Lost His Teeth was inspired by a story that Emma's father once told her three children. The story was different to that of Cedric and his siblings but centred around a crocodile losing his teeth. Always brush your teeth kids and never eat as many treats as Cedric does!
